Trash Rake Cleaning Systems
Kuenz trash rake cleaning machines (TRCM) guarantee efficient operation. Most Kuenz TRCMs can be equipped with an additional crane and auxiliary equipment for stop log handling, removal of trees, etc.
Kuenz TRCMs are standardized but can be adapted to the customer´s specific requirements.

Deep Shaft Cleaning Machine
Wastewater Industry
The deep shaft cleaning machine for the wastewater industry is one further application which merges our expertise from the crane and trash rake cleaning industries. The machine shown in the picture above is part of a CSO control system with a deep shaft of 300 ft. The specially designed machine cleans the rack of debris and collects grit and disposes of all waste into a container. This machine can be equipped with attachments for stop log handling and removal of the shaft cover.
The machine is equipped with two different cleaning devices. The racks are cleaned with a gripper rake that was specially designed for the demanding requirements of the hydropower indystry. A clamshell bucket is recommended for removing sludge from the grit pit.
The rake and clamshell bucket are moved by two independent drive units, thereby enabling precise positioning over the shaft and disposal area.
Guides as shown in the picture, ensure the accurate positioning up to a deep of 300 ft.
